God has always existed outside of time and space. It is a hard concept for our limited minds to grasp because we know only of things which are materialistic and we can see.I am a Christian with some advice and questions?
He is the almighty power.
I believe he is like a force of energy or spirit if you will.
One day we will all know the truth.
God just came to be, just like that. God bless you always
In reality in the bible says that in the beginning there is God.
We all get to deep with questions; we all think ';what happens before';.
I don't really believe in the big bang but thats my opinion.
From what it says in the bible it just simply says ';In the beginning was God';
He probably played cards before he created the universe.
It's true it doesn't explain much in the bible, but its all belief. I believe in Christianity and I'm proud to be.
That is the Question of all time, cannot wait to ask Them.
Where did They come from, they have always been.
Psa 41:13 Blessed be the LORD God of Israel from everlasting, and to everlasting. Amen, and Amen.
Psa 90:2 Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God.
Psa 90:2 Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God.
Psa 100:5 For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.
Psa 119:142 Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and thy law is the truth.
Psa 145:13 Thy kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and thy dominion endureth throughout all generations.
Isa 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
GOD WAS FROM IONS ANIONS. OF TIME BEFORE THE UNIVERSE OF ALL CREATION. GOD IS/ ETERNAL OF THE ETERNAL/ I AM WHO I AM .. THE TETRAGRAMMATON ( IN GREEK)
IF YOU CAN EXPLAIN THE UNIVERSE YOU CAN EXPLAIN GOD
(John 1:1-3,14)
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made...And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth (John 1:1-3,14
I see the questions, but where is the advice?
and to answer your questions, I don't have all the answers, but I do know that he does exist.
if we had all of the answers, then we would not need faith.
He is Uncreated.
Before there was a begining there was God.
That's how it starts...Good luck in your journey.
God always was. Humans are finite creatures. God is infinite. A finite creature cannot fully comprehend the infinite. A cup of water can contain the immensity of the ocean more easily than man can fully comprehend God.
There was no big bang. It was always bang- bang.
Unless we accept the Fact, that God (I call Him Krishn) and we the souls are present from the time eternals and will continue to live in eternity, we will unnecessarily be boggling our mind.
For now, the belief and trust in this Truth is important. Realization that it indeed is ' The Truth', will come later and naturally.
Danny P, you said it perfectly.
Some things you just have to accept that you can't understand.
Well you being a Christian should know that god had no start or stop. This is impossible for us to understand anyway because we have not seen it and there for can not understand the infinity thing.
Not to say that its a bad thing to try to understand it.
This just leads you lots of other question about god and the way it might work.
God is the uncaused cause of all there is.
If a person doesn't believe in God, they still have to ask the same question. Where did *everything* come from? What caused the universe to begin? What is the absolute origin of life?
The answer is always that something had to be constant... an uncaused cause for everything else. It's mind boggling because we live in a universe where there are certain laws of nature and physics, and we see things beginning and ending. We can't really grasp something that has no beginning or end, but always IS.
When Moses asked God's name, God said ';I AM.';
He exists outside of our physical, finite realm. He is spirit, not flesh, not matter.
Hope this helps.
Cheers,
Diana
If you believe in God and hopefully get to be with him He will tell you. I wonder the same thing too. Somethings we will never know if we don't believe.
God has always existed, and always will. He is outside of time and eternal. It's not an elected position, He reigns because He is supreme, most powerful, and the only truly sovereign entity. Thank God He's good at it, yes?
There are some indications that our cosmos isn't the only (or even first) creation - angels and demons come from somewhere. For some reason, the angelic guard at Eden had a ';flaming sword'; - at a time when fire and metalworking technologies were well beyond what Adam and Eve would have come up with.
I've wondered too, but human knowledge is very limited. I doubt we could understand. All I know is he is the ALPHA OMEGA the beginning %26amp; the end. I guess I will have to ask him when I get there.
Why bother with such queries about God; how does it matter.
Concentrate on what really matters and i.e. to keep on becoming a better human being till a point comes when God (whoever He is) is no longer able to withhold from introducing Himself to you.
asking those questions is like staring into the sun and trying to count the atoms
Fiction.
You could always consider the fact that God doesn't exist at all. That would simplify things greatly.
Babydoll, it looks like your answer and mine aren't very popular! Seems as if some people don't like our alternative. Well, people, it WOULD simplify things, wouldn't it? (Betcha we're right, too, but being right in the R%26amp;S forum correlates poorly with thumbs up.)
Man created god out of the desire to answer the unanswerable. .
