Need advice for promoting a christian rock venue.?

Me and a circle of families run a christian rock venue, with free admissions, and food. We hold shows twice every month. We are trying to get more to attend. Whenever I try and get friends to go , they are always under the impression its a lack luster show, however these bands are touring underground bands (and more experienced musicians, not to put others down but its a different realm from a local show). I give them links to bands they play but they dont even look at them. How do you convince or make it more probable for people to look at the material thats going through the venue? Iam not a good salesperson:( so advice on points to make would be awesome.I try and target buddies who are in to the same type of music. I just need to find a way to get some people to take some time out of their day and sit down and listen to some samples,%26lt;%26lt; without browing them or forcing them to. It like one of those things you ask people to do and they dont get around to it.Need advice for promoting a christian rock venue.?
You could arrange for one of the local stations--Christian or public radio, perhaps--to either broadcast the performances live or rebroadcast them. That would create quite a lot of buzz and should bring in more people, hopefully mostly Christians and their friends. I assume that you are already putting up eye-catching posters on the bulletin boards at all of the local churches and asking the ministers to include your concerts in their announcements.Need advice for promoting a christian rock venue.?
tell them god won't be there.
Build it...and they will come.
