First of all do not try quitting. Pray to Jesus to help you quit and then have Faith that He will be working on you even if it seems like your getting worse just stay in Faith.





Lu:11:40: Ye fools, did not he that made that which is without make that which is within also?

God gave us dominion and He never took it back, so when you give it to God you have to let go of it, stop worrying about it and consider it being taken care of. Because if you worry about it you are taking your dominion back and saying you can handle it by yourself.

It is a good sign that you intend to quit watching porn. It is not easy to give up a bad habit, since by letting it happen each time, this habit becomes us. Now you have become an addicted porn watcher, which means you have become a porn watcher by nature.





You can not stop this habit by taking a hard decision or by controlling yourself. More you control, more will be your intensity to watch it again. So, please note that this intention is good and it comes from the Holy Spirit of God. Unless a person is guided by Holy Spirit, such good intentions shall not come to his mind.





So what you can do is to thank God for making you feel like quitting porn. You submit this in prayer on daily basis and request God to enable you. Leave it in his hands and forget it. Do not think about it and wait for God to strengthen you totally. If you intensely feel like watching it, just observe your feelings at that moment and try to see whether you can do something else at that time. If the urge is too intense, watch it, but again repent and pray to God to strengthen you. Surely, you will win over it with the help of God. Submit this issue to God and forget it. Don't take any decisions over this.
dude honestly i'm trying to quit the same thing. its hard yea but i heard that some of the girls that are on those shows are discusted with themselves when its all over and the go to a trash can or something like that and puke cuz they can't stand it. i get those same desires to masturbate and stuff like that but its really hard. i would stay in Gods word. when you have desires to watch that stuff, read the bible instead and ask God to just take it away right then and there, with faith. read psalms 91 its really good! it helps me all the time!

3. Never click on Web site addresses that you receive in an unsolicited email.





4. Do not open attachments that come in email that are unsolicited.





5. Use filtered search engines or reputable directories to find the information you need.





6. Do not search for terms like girls. Think before you enter a search term.








Stick with reputable sites.


If something looks questionable, don't let curiosity get the best of you. Delete it or close the window.

Well, what's the problem with porn? It's not unhealthy, only the religious think it's a sin, and people make BILLIONS off it. Unless you are addicted, in which case you have trouble functioning within a normal society, there isn't a problem. I say stick with it, possibly get your significant other involved if you can. Acting out porn is always fun.





But I'm an atheist, so I guess I must me immoral and agent of the devil who will rot in hell for all eternity. That's alright, all the cool people are in hell anyway. I'm bringing the Doritos for this barbecue.
Have you tried going on a fast? Fasting puts a turbocharger on your prayers and shoots them through the roof! As you know, fasting is when you go without food and water for 24 hours. If you think you can't do that, then ask God for the strength to endure it. I've done that and could actually feel the extra strength kicking in. But every time you feel hungry or thirsty, have a little talk with God about your problem that you are fasting over. Fasting has a way of making you humble and feeling closer to God. When your 24 hours are up, before you close out your fast, you and God have a real good talk about your problem. I know of people who have come off of tobacco with no withdrawals. Of course you know that the devil and his demons are causing your addiction. When you are getting the urge to get into the porn,try rebuking Satan and his demons in the name of Jesus Christ.


As a Christian, you have ministering angels assigned to you to help you along. They are on duty 24-7 for you. And when you start rebuking those demons in the name of Jesus Christ, what you are doing is sicking your angels on those demons, and they know how to kick tail. Good luck and God bless. I am so saddened by the responses on here. I am so sorry that christians as well as others are so callous about this problem. I don't right off know of any on line help but I do know its a very strong addiction that can ruin your life and marriage. Treat it like any other addiction. The first thing is admit you have a problem which I see you have done. The second is some what like the first and admit you need help outside of yourself. My church has a program to help its members and as far as I know they are free to help others outside the church also. Try going to your local Church of Jesus Christ L.D.S. and talking to the bishop I am sure he can direct you some help. That help may even include someone he knows who has had that problem to help you out. You may find some help online too I wish you luck. Like any other addiction the hardest part is going to admit you may not be able to do it on your own. Good luck and my prayers are with you tonight.
You just need to find other distractions. You have probably incorporated pornography into your daily rituals somehow. Find some kind of alternative ritual. Don't focus on the idea that it is evil or that you are bad because of it. It's human nature.

And pray to God continually for stength, and go to church. And don't beat yourself up if you fail but always seek forgiveness too. Good luck!

Honestly, most of gays or homosexuals in world are christians or Jesus believers (orthodox, catholics, etc) (no disrespect), so they would probably suggest you become gay too :)

The best way to stop sinning is to avoid the situations where the temptation to sin arises.
GET RID OF ALL THE PORNO THAT YOU HAVE HIDDEN. DO NOT KEEP ANYTHING READILY AVAILABLE TO FEED YOUR ADDICTION. OVER A SHORT PERIOD OF TIME, YOU WILL BECOME BACK TO NORMAL AND FOCUS ON BETTER THINGS.
