Any Christian advice for someone like me who feels self-conscious about their looks.?

I actually have the ugliest looking long face. I hate everything about it. EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!





What sucks is that the Bible hardly focuses on verses concerning this and looks, and I want to know if the Lord can make me feel pretty again.Any Christian advice for someone like me who feels self-conscious about their looks.?

Part of the issue here is that most people live under the world's influence about what is pretty, beautiful, and acceptable. The truth is, that the world's idea of what is pretty sickens God. Don't let magazines, commercials, books, ect. affect you, God looks on the inside and according to the Word, you were fearfully and wonderfully made! God bless you, hope this helps!

I thought i was ugly to until my friend showed me this song and I feel so much better now then I once did. It talks about '; in the eyes of the King your beautiful made'; which is true God doesn't care what you look like because he created you that way so be happy.

I too struggle with my looks. I am not the skinniest person on the block and it is hard to feel beautiful.





But when I am done about how ugly I feel two things come to mind:





1. God created us in His image and he sees his creation as beautiful





2. God looks at the heart not the outward appearance
Well ... feeling pretty is a whole lot easier and probable than looking pretty. Don't give up, kid!





Is.26:3 ';Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee ; because he trusteth in thee.';

The Lord doesn't make anyone or anything ugly :)





You're just wrongly looking to Hollywood for judgement, instead of looking to the Lord Jesus! :D
